The Co-Chairs of the Armenian Assembly of America turned to Marco Rubio, calling on Armenian prisoners to release

Co-Chairs of the Armenian Assembly of America Oscar Tatosyan and Talin Yakubyan addressed a letter to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, urging all Armenian prisoners in Baku, including the "political leadership of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh)" and ensured their right to return.

The Co-Chairs sent the letter, taking into account US President Donald Trump during his stay in the White House with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during which he could have peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The letter emphasizes that the "right to return to Artsakh and cultural issues remains unresolved" and calls for "support for a true and fair solution" to the United States, which will include "safe, voluntary and dignified returns."

It is also emphasized that "full, stable peace should include reliable security guarantees for the Republic of Armenia, including the complete withdrawal of the Azerbaijani forces, as well as clear consequences for violating any agreement."

This letter addressed to Secretary of State Rubio was followed by a letter addressed to President Tramper, which also called for strong security guarantees for the Armenian people, in case of violation of the peace agreement, as well as guarantee the fundamental right to the return of Artsakh Armenians.
