US President Donald Trump has promised that gasoline prices in the United States will fall after the end of the conflict with Iran. Earlier, US Vice President J.D. Vance said that he did not know when gasoline prices in the country could fall again. “Oil prices will fall sharply, like everything else, only more so when we win the war with Iran. Gasoline will cost three dollars a gallon, and eventually less than two dollars,” Trump wrote on the TruthSocial social network.
On February 28, the United States and Israel began to strike targets in Iran, to which Iran responded with strikes of its own. In mid-June, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum on the cessation of hostilities, but later exchanged strikes again.
The conflict remains unresolved.
