The Jerusalem Regional Court has again postponed the testimony of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this time because of his illness, The Times of Israel reports.
The hearings were scheduled for July 21 and 22, but on July 20, the Prime Minister felt bad due to food poisoning and, therefore, he was ordered at home in the next three days.
The Prime Minister's lawyer Amit Hadda asked to postpone the hearings.
According to the newspaper, the Prosecutor General's Office has agreed to partially meet the request, but has suggested listening to Netanyahu's testimony on July 23 and 24.
However, due to other hearings, the court decided to cancel the Prime Minister's testimony next week.
In late July, Israel's courts go on a summer vacation, so Netanyahu's trial was postponed until September.
