The Israel Defense Forces claim that on October 18 they killed the commander of one of the battalions of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Mahmoud Hamdan.
“Today Mahmoud Hamdan was eliminated by the Israel Defense Forces,” the army announced on its Telegram channel.
As noted, this happened near the place where the head of the Hamas political bureau, Yahya Sinwar, was previously eliminated.
According to the army, information received several weeks ago indicated that Hamdan had already been eliminated, but this information was revised.
