The Catholicos of All Armenians sent a letter of condolence regarding the tragic death of the Iranian President, Foreign Minister and accompanying officials.


H.E. On May 20, the Supreme Patriarch Karegin and Catholicos of All Armenians sent a letter of condolence to the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, in connection with the tragic death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and accompanying officials as a result of a helicopter accident. As "Armenpress" learns from the message released by the Information Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Eminence for the sake of the Supreme Spiritual Council and the Congregation of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin expressed his grief to the bereaved families of the victims and the people of Iran, requesting that the Most High will strengthen the Islamic Republic of Iran to overcome the difficult test.
