Zakharova commented on the words of the NATO Secretary General about the liquidation of Sinvar

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, drew a parallel between NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the cannibal, commenting on his statements about the liquidation of the leader of the Politburo of the Palestinian organization Hamas. The diplomat expressed her opinion on the Telegram channel.

“The fact is that Rutte is a former prime minister of the Netherlands. The country is known for its “liberal traditions,” the diplomat wrote, recalling the 1672 assassination attempt on the country's prime minister and his brother, some of whose body parts were eaten by an angry mob.

“The reflexes of cannibalism, as we see, are still strong. Bon appetit, Mark, don’t choke,” Zakharova emphasized.

Prior to this, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, commenting on information about Israel’s possible liquidation of Hamas Politburo head Yahya Sinwar, told reporters that he would not be upset if this turned out to be true.

On October 17, an Israeli security source confirmed that Yahya Sinwar had been killed in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the NATO Secretary General spoke about the alliance’s relations with Russia.
