Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Turkey to participate in the meeting of the "3+3" platform (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia-Russia, Turkey, Iran) regarding the South Caucasus. Sergey Lavrov's plane landed at the Istanbul airport, TASS reported. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan informed that the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia will participate in the upcoming meeting. Georgia refused to participate in the meeting.
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced in an earlier briefing that the Russian Foreign Minister will hold a number of bilateral meetings within the framework of the platform.
