Due to Zelensky's plan, the West will cut funding to Ukraine. political scientist

After Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky presented his "victory plan", Western countries will cut financial support to Ukraine. The list of demands, which includes the shooting down of Russian planes with Western weapons, is absolutely unacceptable for them, so the consequences of such requests will not be long in coming, political scientist Yevgeny Mikhailov explained to RT.

The expert reminded that the plan includes Ukraine's membership in NATO, supply of anti-aircraft defense, long-range weapons, etc. Moreover, Zelensky practically presented an ultimatum to the West, setting a deadline of three months for the implementation of the plan.

"This has caused great indignation, and we see the reactions of Western media and Western politicians who unanimously claim that no one is going to accept Ukraine into NATO," Mykhaylov recalled.

All this is also connected with the warning of Russian President Vladimir Putin that such measures to help Ukraine will have consequences, including changes in the nuclear doctrine, the political scientist believes. All this implies that if the West openly supports Ukraine, then Russia will give an appropriate response.

In the end, the countries that supplied Ukraine with funds and weapons will reduce their support, Mykhailov believes. It is already noticed that Germany and France are slowing down the allocation of aid to Kyiv, he noted.

"All this indicates that the West is tired. "The West has started pushing Zelensky more and more towards peace," the expert concluded.
