The opposition police chief returns to politics. "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

The former head of the Ninotsminda District Police of Georgia, public figure Arsen Karapetyan has officially announced his return to politics, considering it a necessary step to get the country out of the political and economic crisis. In his pre-election interview, he emphasizes that he considers it his duty to protect the interests of citizens and lead Georgia on the path of sustainable development. "I left the police force because my principles and beliefs no longer corresponded to the conditions in which I found myself.

It is impossible to work in a system that rejects the interests of its people and leads the country to destruction," says Karapetyan. He also adds that the current leadership of the state is not making enough efforts to prevent the deterioration of the situation in the country. According to Karapetyan, the main goal and reason for his return to politics is to restore citizens' trust in the government and improve public administration. He notes that in recent years Georgian institutions have suffered from corruption and inefficiency, and economic and political processes have only worsened the state of the country. Karapetyan hopes to win the trust of a large part of the electorate, emphasizing that his program is aimed at real change and improvement of people's lives. "The experience of my work in law enforcement bodies showed that changes are necessary, and that's why I'm returning to politics. I know how to restore order and how to create a system that will serve the citizens and not the interests of special people," he says. Arsen Karapetyan, the opposition leader, considers restoring justice and ensuring effective governance as his main task. "Citizens of Georgia deserve a better future. they deserve justice, security and opportunities for development."
