CNN: Biden plans to discuss support for Kiev with European leaders

US President Joe Biden is expected to travel to Germany this week to meet with European leaders to discuss support for Ukraine, CNN reported, citing three Western officials familiar with the plans.

According to them, in Germany, Biden will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The leaders of the four countries had planned to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, but the meeting was canceled after Biden postponed his visit to the United States due to Hurricane Milton.

Last week, Zelensky toured European capitals, visiting London, Paris and Rome, and ended it in Berlin with talks with Scholz, after which the German chancellor promised an additional $1.5 billion in aid to Kiev, CNN reminds.
