Nikolaev was subjected to a missile attack. 1 person was killed, 16 were injured


Russian forces shelled the Ukrainian town of Nikolaev on the night of October 15, regional military administration head Vitaly Kim said. He said Russian troops shelled the town around 2:30 a.m. with missiles allegedly fired from an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.

According to the leader of Nikolaev, Alexander Senkevich, the explosions took place before the air bombardment alert was announced in the city. According to the Ukrainian authorities, as a result of the shelling, an infrastructure object, a restaurant complex, shopping pavilions, residential buildings and cars were damaged.

Fires broke out. As a result of the shelling, one woman was killed and 16 people were injured.
