Trump spoke about new sanctions against Russia

US President Donald Trump refused to answer the question of whether he plans to impose new sanctions on Russia. He stated this during a meeting with journalists at the White House, which was broadcasted by Fox News.

During the conversation, one of the journalists asked the leader of the White House whether he was going to impose new anti-Russian sanctions on the background of Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine.

"Well, they fight with each other," Trump said.

A few hours ago, the US President stated that the complete cessation of fire in Ukraine may take place "very soon." According to him, "Negotiations are underway on the agreement."

On March 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump conducted their second officially confirmed telephone conversation. According to the Kremlin, during the talks, the owner of the White House offered a proposal to Russia and Ukraine, to refrain from striking energy infrastructure for 30 days. Putin has agreed to this proposal and immediately issued the Russian military.
