American President Joe Biden called on the Iranian government to “stop plotting” against the candidate for the post of head of state in the United States from the Republican Party Donald Trump and other officials, Politico writes, citing a high-ranking source from the White House.
“Iran was told that any attempt to assassinate Trump would be considered an act of war,” he said.
According to the publication, ex-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, ex-national security adviser John Bolton and ex-special envoy for Iran Brian Hook were “targeted by Iran.”
