Erdogan and Vucic discussed Turkey's intention to establish peace in Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he discussed with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic Turkey's determined commitment to establishing sustainable peace in Ukraine.

As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday, there have been no serious proposals to resolve the Ukrainian conflict; data on this topic appears in the Western media “like a jack-in-the-box.”

"We discussed with Mr. Vučić regional and global issues, in particular the conflict in Ukraine. We emphasized Turkey's determination to establish lasting peace," the Turkish leader said in a joint press statement with his Serbian counterpart on Friday in Belgrade.
