Shoigu gave the head of Tyva a list of Putin’s instructions

Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu handed over to the head of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg a list of instructions following the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the region in September.

“Today I handed over to Vladislav Tovarishtayovich (Khovalyg - ed.) a signed list of the president’s instructions. He signed it yesterday and asked to hand it over. I did it. It took into account all the requests and proposals that were expressed during his working trip here to the republic ", Shoigu said during a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the voluntary entry of the Tuvan People's Republic into the USSR.

Shoigu also noted that plans for the development of the region include the construction of a railway that will reach the Chinese city of Urumqi.

“I would like the railway that we are going to build, I am sure it will be built, “Kyzyl - Kuragino”, to go further and come to that very friendly, as you said, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (region in the northwest China - ed.), and, simply put, in Urumqi. And this is also in the plans, this is also in different versions and projects,” he clarified.
