Officials of one of Ararat community halls have received bribes from citizens

With the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, it turned out that the Deputy Head of one of the municipalities of the RA Ararat region A. H. D., as part of the group, using the official powers, with the support of a number of individuals, as well as personally, and received a bribe of different sizes.

In particular, the mentioned officials in August 2024, through the administrative leader of one of their settlements, received a bribe of 150,000 AMD to distribute a auction-sale of the same settlement.

It turned out that the above-mentioned officials demanded a bribe of 55,000 AMD on October 11, 2024 in exchange for changing the targeted importance of the latter's land in the settlement of the same community.

The preliminary investigation was also substantiated that the deputy head of the community A. H. demanded $ 120,000 to award and receive 120,000 AMD for awarding business activities in the community to be held on October 22, 20020.

In order to receive bribes in the group, a. H. and H. D. was charged with paragraphs 1 and 3 of Article 435 of the RA Criminal Code with Article 435, Clause 1 and Part 2 of Article 435 and Part 1 of Article 435. Detention was used as a precautionary measure against the mentioned two defendants. Another 8 people have been accused of bribery and supporting bribes, and the supposed crimes.
