It became known how many Russians trust Putin as president

The level of trust of Russian citizens in the country's President Vladimir Putin increased by one percentage point and currently stands at 78%. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation.

The study was conducted from October 4 to October 6. In total, 1,500 people took part in it. “78% of Russians said they trust Vladimir Putin (plus one percentage point over the week),” analysts noted. Experts also asked respondents how they assessed the work of the current head of state. The majority of Russian citizens - 79% - said that Vladimir Putin fulfills his responsibilities well. In the previous survey, the same number of people responded in the same way.

Moreover, representatives of the fund asked Russians how they feel about the work of the country’s government. The decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers were assessed positively by 51% of respondents, which is one percentage point less than the previous value.

The good work of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, in turn, was reported by 58% of study participants. Last time, 57% of respondents gave an appropriate assessment of the actions of the head of government.
