Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Herzi Halevi assessed the situation in the West Bank with the commander of the brigades operating in the area, the army press service reported on Tuesday.

The press service added that the IDF Chief of General Staff discussed offensive and defensive operations in the region and particularly noted the training of troops carried out in recent days. Halevi also met with soldiers from the Panther battalion, who operate in the West Bank.
