American entrepreneur and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk has announced that he has had access to top-secret information for many years and complained that the authorities classify too much information.
“For many years, I have had access to top-secret information and access, the existence of which is secret,” Musk wrote on the X social network.
He noted that if some information can be easily found on the Internet, then it does not need to be secret. Musk emphasized that this only hinders the interaction of government departments.
Earlier, American media wrote that employees of the department headed by Musk had access to the confidential data of millions of government employees. We are talking about human resources information, addresses, salaries, names and social security numbers.
