The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported one death and two injuries during the fighting. "In an incident in which Staff Sergeant Noam Israel Abdu was killed, a soldier from the 17th Battalion of the Bislamah Brigade was seriously injured. In another incident, a soldier from the 7012th Battalion of the 3rd Brigade was seriously injured during combat in southern Lebanon. The soldier was evacuated to the hospital for treatment,” the army reports on its Telegram channel.
According to a statement on the army's website, the staff sergeant was killed during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
