American entrepreneur and head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk has said that Reuters has received millions of dollars from the US government to mislead its audience.
"The US government paid millions of dollars to 'massively mislead the public.' That's literally what the contract says," Musk wrote in response to a post by user X, in which the latter noted that the Pentagon paid Reuters $9 million for "sociological" projects.
Musk also called the agency a "complete fraud."
