The Rescue Service informs that there are closed highways in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The highways leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.
