Switzerland plans to allocate 1.7 billion dollars to Ukraine


The Ambassador of Switzerland to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, Felix Baumann, said that the Swiss government plans to allocate 1.7 billion dollars to the projects of restoration and reconstruction of damaged objects in Ukraine for the next four years.

""An important focus of our cooperation remains the projects of "Early reconstruction", within the framework of which the Swiss government plans to allocate 1.5 billion Swiss francs to the reconstruction projects of Ukraine for the next four years", - Baumann's words on the government portal of Ukraine.

According to him, 1 billion of these funds will be directed to the self-government, demining and humanitarian aid sectors, the remaining amounts - to the reconstruction program with the involvement of the Swiss private sector.
