US President Donald Trump has signed a major national security memorandum, which restores the maximum pressure on the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the White House spread this message.
According to the document, it is planned to prevent Iran's nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, destroy Iran's "terrorist network" and to counteract Iran's missiles, as well as other asymmetric and ordinary weapons. The US Secretary of Finance has been instructed to use maximum economic pressure on the Iranian government, including mechanisms for those who violate the existing sanctions.
The memorandum also noted that the Secretary of State will cooperate with the Minister of Finance to campaign the export of Iranian oil exports. In addition, the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United States will work with key allies to complete international sanctions and restrictions on Iran.
