Nicaragua has announced its out of the UN Food and Agriculture Program

The Nicaraguian authorities have announced that the UN Food and Agriculture Program (FAO) demands itself closing its representative office and offices in 2024 due to disagreement with the FAO report on food security.

This is stated in a letter sent to the General Director of Nicaragua Foreign Minister Vallidak Junget, the General Director of this UN. The Nicaraguian government has read the "Food Safety and Power Plant World-2024" report stated in the document published by El 19 digital portal.

"We reject it because of the aggressive trend of objectivity, methodological, misinformation and intervening," the letter said, adding that the report was "maliciously spread for political purposes."
