Last week, Trump stated that Egypt and Jordan should accept Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, as a result of the 15-month bombing of Israel there are about 2.3 million homeless people.
Jordan rejected Trump's proposal, and his foreign minister Ayman Safad told reporters that the country's position on any movement of Palestinians remains "steadfast and steadfast" against Gaza.
Jordan has already hosted several million Palestinians, dozens of thousands live in Egypt. Both countries, as well as other Arab states, reject the idea of resettling the Palestinians from Gaza.
