Azerbaijan will not be any threat to Iran.
The statement came from Azerbaijani President Hycmet Hajiyev at the meeting with Adviser to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Haji also expressed Baku's intention to develop relations with Tehran in all spheres.
"The key point of the relations between the two countries is to strengthen trust and the elimination of misunderstandings," he said.
Sani responded to say that the level of relations between the two countries should be released from a purely diplomatic format and spread to other public and private sectors.
"Iran's main goal in its neighbors, including relations with Azerbaijan, is to avoid strategic relations and tensions," he said.
