Historian-political scientist Armen Ayvazyan writes:
Nikol Pashinyan is actively preparing the assimilation of Armenians into other nations and tribes, among which will be the 350,000 Azerbaijanis announced by Aliyev, as well as the Turks and Kurds to be brought from Turkey to Armenia under the name of "Muslim Armenians". How else can one interpret the following statements made by Pashinyan in front of a group of Diaspora Armenians in Switzerland?
"The Armenian people are the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. Moreover, according to this logic, those who are not ethnic Armenians, but are citizens of the Republic of Armenia, are also part of the Armenian people.
Pashinyan also gives such an ignorant definition of the concept of nation, which contradicts all old and new scientific theories about nations, ethnic groups and nationalism. "A nation, in my understanding, is a group of people united by ethnic origin, and that's all."
And now let's compare this speech of his long-time political sponsor, former RA President Serzh Sargsyan in 2008. On September 24, in New York, in front of the representatives of the Armenian community, he made the following headline statements:
"Armenian identity should not be complex and mysterious, it should renounce linguistic, religious, cultural... divisions. An English-speaking, Turkish-speaking, Russian-speaking or Armenian-speaking Armenian, an Apostolic, Catholic, Protestant or Muslim Armenian... is simply an Armenian" ("Armenia is a state without diaspora and a completely different state with diaspora". - Republic of Armenia, September 26, 2008).
Basically, Sargsyan and Pashinyan are saying the same thing.
It is clear that Armenians are being led step by step towards assimilation and Turkification. If Nikol or another foreigner who came to replace him remains in power, representatives of various nations and tribes recently settled in Armenia will be declared "part of the Armenian people" with the inevitable self-dissolution of Armenia. After that, the need to physically destroy Armenians will disappear.
Everything will be done easily and calmly. Unfortunately, this scenario will be implemented smoothly, if only once in Armenia it is not possible to implement a qualitative change of power, which will lead to the construction of the entire RA national security system from scratch and the revival of the Armenian Army.
The chances of saving the Armenian people are diminishing day by day, hour by hour, but all is not lost yet...
