Pashinyan met with Nobel laureate Artem Patatutyan (video)

In Davos, within the framework of the World Economic Forum, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the famous Armenian scientist, molecular biologist and neuroscientist Artem Pataputyan, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2021.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the exceptional contribution and scientific achievements of Mr. Pathaputyan in the field of global science, emphasizing that the development of science and education is one of the strategic priorities of the RA Government.

The Prime Minister noted that it is important to involve the potential of our compatriots in the development of science and added that the Government continuously increases the funding of the science sector to promote the implementation of innovative ideas and programs.

In his turn, Artem Pataputyan noted that during his visit to Armenia, he visited various technological companies and got acquainted with the existing potential in the field of science. He expressed his readiness to support the Government of RA in implementing programs aimed at the development of science and innovation.
