The European Court in the judgment in the case of "Suren Antonyan v. Armenia" actually recorded that while considering the petition regarding Judge Antonyan, the President of the Court of Justice Karen Andreasyan was biased and thus did not recuse himself, as a result of which the judge was removed from the judicial system.

"Of course, the European Court obliged to reopen the case, but it is obvious that the actions of the former President of the Central Committee of Ukraine Karen Andreasyan have the characteristics of an apparent crime and it should receive a proper criminal-legal assessment.
It is clear that regarding the other judges removed due to the personal complaint of the same subject, other legal acts of the European Court creating a criminal offense will be received soon, but at the moment there are sufficient grounds to initiate criminal proceedings against Karen Andreasyan," he noted.
