"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"Actually, the top leadership of Armenia was not invited to the official inauguration ceremony of US President Donald Trump in Washington on January 20.
Instead, Minister of Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan took part with Armenian Ambassador to the USA Lilit Makunts, published photos stating that he participated in the ceremony dedicated to Trump's inauguration, flooding his Facebook page with photos.
In fact, Prime Minister Pashinyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, NA Speaker Alen Simonyan are not invited to the official ceremony, instead, Armenia participates at the level of Minister of Social Affairs.
"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper tried to contact the spokesperson of Minister Narek Mkrtchyan to find out who Narek Mkrtchyan participated in the event, what meetings he had in the USA, and with what means he traveled, but the spokesperson was unavailable.
Earlier, Narek Mkrtchyan wrote on his Facebook page next to the pictures. "As the head of external relations of the "Civil Contract" party, I had the honor to participate in the evening dedicated to the inauguration of President Donald Trump at the Andrew Mellon government hall at the invitation of the largest US company NewsMax Media.
During the event, I had a good opportunity to communicate warmly with the future US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, long-time friends of President Trump, Christopher Rudy, Patrick Orlando and a number of other high-ranking officials and international guests."
In fact, the minister, having left his state affairs, is drawing a party butterfly, hiding from the public the means by which he left and lives in the USA."
