They face a fake trial there, they are tortured, they are treated inhumanely because they represent us. Artak Beglaryan

"Our Armenian hostages are in Baku for us," Artak Beglaryan, the former minister of state of Artsakh, told reporters at the UN Armenian office.

He mentioned that they are facing a fake trial there, they are being tortured, they are being treated inhumanely, because they represent us, firstly as the former and current leaders of the Republic of Armenia, secondly, as Armenians, all of them, not only the military-political leadership.

"Those people who think that Artsakh should have existed and still exists now, Artsakh is Armenian, that means we are all terrorists for Ilham Aliyev's genocidal regime.

If we are terrorists, then we are also condemned there.

That's why we should all raise our voice in all possible instances and first of all force, demand the authorities of Armenia to move and do their best to return our hostages to the homeland, to return our dignity to us," declared Beglaryan.

He mentioned that they have gathered in front of the UN office as a collective face of the international community and their action is aimed not only at the UN structures, but also at all states, because all states are UN members.

"Then we will gather in front of the Foreign Ministry to address our words to the Armenian authorities, because until our state institutions do not engage in the protection of our rights on an individual and collective level, naturally, other states will not engage at all," Beglaryan said, noting that the Armenian authorities should be forced to move from place to place.
