On January 13, the Vagharshapat department of the Community Police received information that a 66-year-old man from Echmiadzin was illegally preparing and selling alcoholic beverages at his place of residence.

"On the same day, the police visited the man for the purpose of checking. The owner of the house told the law enforcement officers that he has prepared fake alcoholic beverages in the basement and accessories for making them, which he is ready to present.
During the examination conducted within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated in connection with the case, he presented 7 bottles of vodka, 7 bottles of different types of brandy, brandy in a 5-liter plastic container, vodka in a 4-liter plastic container, 18 corks of vodka, 390 empty bottles.
The man was arrested and submitted to the investigation department of Vagharshapat along with the prepared documents," the message says.
