Medvedev appreciated Trump's plans to end the Ukrainian conflict in six months

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, expressed doubts about the ability of the newly elected US President Donald Trump to quickly achieve success in the process of settling the Ukrainian crisis. He published a post with relevant content on his Telegram channel. The statement states that the future owner of the White House plans to have a "competitive start" in his work as the head of state.

According to Medvedev, Trump's recent proposals to include Canada in the United States and to rename the Gulf of Mexico can be explained by three things: "The calculation is simple. the quick successes of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict are highly doubtful, the US economy is living its quiet life, and even the fight against migrants does not promise great victories," explained the vice president of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. He expressed confidence that in connection with this, Trump decided to create a "new political geography".

At the same time, Medvedev called all the ideas of the elected American leader "pure dreams and absolutely unrealistic".
