"Fact" daily writes:
"My brother wrote the book during the service. He participated in the 44-day war. He was able to call more often after the war.
And during one of those calls, he said with great enthusiasm that he had written a book.
My brother was a man of extraordinary thinking," says Ashken, Sipan's sister, in a conversation with "Fact". She notes that she was not at all surprised when her brother informed her that he had written a book. "It was not something special for him, he could write a book.was so excited.
He had already separated the chapters of the book by their titles. Then he started telling me about the contents of the book.
After he was discharged, he brought the notebook with him, the book was written there, and the titles were written on the last page. He constantly talked about the book, what kind of perspective he saw in the book's content."
Art, sports, there were many interests in Sipan's life. Ashkhen says that his brother liked to sing and paint, and he had an obvious talent for the latter. "He was not indifferent to sports, moreover, he attended judo from a young age. Over time, he had great success, becoming a two-time champion of Armenia."
After returning home from the service, Sipan took a short break to write the book.
I remembered about the book amid difficult, shocking and complicated feelings, and publishing it became my number one goal." But before talking about the book, let's tell a little about Sipan.
He was born in the village of Dzithankou in Shirak region. studied at Maralik secondary school No. 1, 2018-2020 at the Yerevan State Sports College of the Olympic shift. After completing it, he entered the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
In 2020, he was drafted for mandatory military service. He served in the military unit of Balujja village of Artsakh Republic.
He was a detective. From the very first day of the war, he was on the front line, performing combat tasks. in 2023 On April 24, alas, Sipan dies in a car accident. Let's go back to the "Paper House".
Ashkhen says: the paper house is the place of our cherished dreams, the place where our most important dreams are born.
"When we remember them, we feel extremely happy. The author, my brother, wanted to urge with his book: don't leave your dreams in a paper house.
When we grow up, being carried away by worries and everyday problems, our childhood enthusiasm seems to fade away.
This book can be an incentive for many people, regardless of age, regardless of conditions, to not leave their dreams in the paper house.
I finished it. It became a sublimation for me, a psychological defense mechanism.
I turned difficult experiences into creative activity. I am a psychologist by profession, I looked at the book from the point of view of my profession.
My brother studied at the faculty of coaching and education, he had great potential, he knew what I learned in the department of psychology. He is a big dreamer.
Such people do not die, they are always with us. I am a purposeful person, it became a supreme goal for me to fulfill Sipan's dreams in parallel with my dreams and goals and thereby make my brother live.
"Explains a number of complex psychological concepts in a simple and accessible way. It also points out how to achieve one's dreams, and the obstacles encountered along the way."
Ashken believes that his brother wrote this book inspired by the following thoughts: "Maybe many people don't believe in your abilities, they don't believe that you can do it, but you have to do it. Not to prove to others, but to yourself, your potential and possibilities completely to discover.
It is the path of self-knowledge and self-realization, because when we realize our goal, it requires a great effort of will.
In that way, we begin to discover ourselves. In our reality, when a child comes and shares his goals with adults, he is often told: it is not your business, it is impossible, etc. This is a wrong type of parenting.
Sipan also talks about it in the book. He wanted to say that no matter how much people criticize you, you still can. I think he wanted to convey this motivation and ideas to his reader."
The presentation of the book "Paper House" took place in 2024. at the Gyumri Regional Library on August 7. The book can be found in the Regional and National Libraries.
It is also for sale. The co-author of Sipan Harutyunyan's book is his sister, Ashkhen Harutyunyan, this was done to avoid various problems related to copyright.
