Georgia's opposition parties have decided not to refuse state funding after the October 26 parliamentary elections. Thus, they will recognize the elections as completed, the Prime Minister of the republic Irakli Kobakhidze stated in an interview given to the Georgian TV channel "Imedi".
The Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) issued a statement on Thursday, stating that the deadline for refusing state funding for parties participating in the elections has passed.
Thus, the parties that refuse to recognize the legitimacy of the elections will also receive funding from the state treasury.
