Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is returning from Russia to Baku from the informal CIS summit in connection with the plane crash that took place in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, the Azerbaijani official source told RIA Novosti.
"In connection with the tragedy, the president of Azerbaijan is returning to Baku," the interlocutor of the agency said.
The plane of Azerbaijan Airlines flying from Baku to Grozny crashed on the morning of December 25 near the city of Aktau in the west of Kazakhstan.
