Russian troops are keeping under fire the Gulyapole-Velikaya Novosiolka highway, through which the supplies of the armed forces of Ukraine are carried out, in the eastern part of the Zaporizhia region, Vladimir Rogov, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of Russian Regions, told "Ria Novosti".
The day before yesterday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the units of the Russian Armed Forces took control of the Storozhevoye settlement as a result of operations in the direction of Zaporozhye. The advance continued, and now the Russian side is keeping the Gulyajpole-Velikaya Novosiolka highway under fire.
The area where active military operations are currently taking place is located at the junction of the Zaporizhia region and the Donetsk People's Republic, the command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located in Velikaya Novosiolka.
