"Fact" daily writes:
Among a certain part of our society, unfortunately, it is still not fully realized that Armenia is facing very serious problems, which can have direct tragic consequences for our statehood.
The external environment is especially complex and unpredictable. First, Armenia has lost its image in the outside world, because other countries decide the issues concerning us.
It is even more unfortunate that Turkey and Azerbaijan are among the "other countries".
The Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem continues to put forward demands, and Pashinyan is busy legitimizing them one by one and convincing the public about the importance of fulfilling those demands. That's how he "convinced" that Artsakh is Azerbaijan, the return of Artsakh Armenians is not realistic, and now he is busy legitimizing false theses about the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" by comparing it with our historical homeland, Western Armenia.
At the same time, Pashinyan is also advancing the talk about dissolving the co-chairman format of the OSCE Minsk Group.
It is no coincidence that he states that "the issue of Karabakh was used like a noose around our neck, to pull Armenia from its neck, to tie it somewhere close."
In fact, he promotes the idea that it is more beneficial for us to withdraw from the Minsk Group, so that the issue of Artsakh is not thrown "like a leash around our neck".
And this is said by a man who published a road map of what to do immediately after the second Artsakh war, one of the key points of which was related to the OSCE Minsk Group.
There it was mentioned about the restoration of the negotiation process of the Karabakh issue in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, emphasizing the priority of the issue of the status of Artsakh and the return of the people of Artsakh to their places of residence.
After the publication of the road map, the RA authorities did not actually take any steps to revive the Minsk Group, and this means moving forward with Azerbaijan's demand and taking the processes towards burying the format of the mediation mission.
In general, the practice of fulfilling the Turkish-Azerbaijani demands has isolated Armenia from its international partners. And it is related to Pashinyan's way of working.
For example, when he announces that the RA authorities are fighting for the status of Artsakh and the return of the people of Artsakh, after that the international partners can try to help Armenia, but from another moment the RA authorities adopt a different course of action, confronting the partners with the facts.
Pashinyan personally recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within the framework of the meeting held in Prague, and under these conditions, what expectations are there that our partner countries should raise the issue of Artsakh, for example, the Russians will come and take Artsakh under their protection?
If we do not protect our interests, why should others protect our interests? And, in general, as a result of direct negotiations with Azerbaijan, international actors, including our partners, were left out of the negotiation process.
And in fact, they don't even want to get involved in that process, because Pashinyan is pursuing a changeable policy. That is how Russia, the West and Iran regard Armenia with distrust.
On the other hand, Armenia is in a wall situation. has stopped the works within the framework of the CSTO, but there are no security-related guarantees from the West either.
And, in general, Armenia is not in the alliances, only there are some steps in the direction of France, but they are objective and insufficient and cannot change the weather in the regional game.
