The head of the radiological, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov, was killed as a result of the operation of the Ukrainian special services, Reuters claims, referring to a source in the Security Service of Ukraine.
"Ukraine's security service killed Russian general Kirilov as part of a special operation in Moscow," the agency writes, according to RIA Novosti.
At around 6 o'clock in the morning, an explosion thundered in the courtyard of a residential building on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow, as a result of which Kirilov and his assistant were killed.
