US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he demands the release of hostages captured by the Palestinian radical Hamas movement before his inauguration, otherwise he has threatened serious consequences, according to reports.The BBC.
"I warned that all hell will break loose if the hostages are not at home by then," he said at his first press conference after the victory. "You have to make them understand the significance of it, which is not going to be pleasant."
Trump's inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025. The American leader-elect also said that he previously had a "very good" telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
