The CIS Executive Committee received a note from Uzbekistan with a proposal to hold the Conference of the Commonwealth of Nations in Tashkent.
This was announced by the general secretary of the association, Sergey Lebedev.
"The CIS executive committee has already received a note from Uzbekistan with the proposal to hold the forum of the CIS regions in the city of Tashkent at the end of April," he told reporters before the meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Commonwealth of Nations.
