Nikol Pashinyan: The subtle art of "cheating" the "Eurovote".

Nikol Pashinyan recently mentioned in an interview that he is not against the "Eurovote" initiative, even when he enters the National Assembly, he will not be an obstacle, so to speak.

Let us inform you that according to the constitution, the positive vote of 2/3 (two thirds) of the members of the National Assembly is required to put it to a referendum.

The "Civil Contract" party has 71 mandates in the National Assembly, which is exactly 2/3. In fact, if Pashinyan's faction votes positively, the project will be accepted, but there is already an obstacle.
Hovik Aghazaryan, who currently considers himself an independent deputy, was expelled from the "Civil Agreement" faction.

Another MP Hakob Aslanyan also wanted to leave the faction, but the situation is a little different there. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Aslanyan's student, minister of education and training, seems to have been able to bring back the "decent" deputy.

Anyway, after Aghazaryan's departure, if the parliamentary opposition votes against the "Eurovote", then the members of the Communist Party will not be able to accept the project, as a result of which it will go the other way, the way of collecting 300 thousand signatures.

Which, in turn, means that Pashinyan is only aborting that European project with his maneuvers, leaving the water dry, putting all the "failure" on Hovik Aghazaryan.
