Billionaire Elon Musk's company xAI has opened access to the Grok chatbot for all users of the X social network (formerly Twitter).3DNewsportal, referring to the messages of the users of the platform.
Testing of Grok by free users of the social network began in mid-November. Launched last year, the chatbot was initially only available to owners of a Premium subscription introduced by Elon Musk after purchasing the platform.
Currently, Grok's user base lags behind competitors such as ChatGPT from OpenAI and Google Gemini. However, going free will allow Grok to compete with other free AIs such as Microsoft's Copilot and Anthropic's Claude.
