Russia expects Armenia's involvement in joint efforts to develop an equal and indivisible security system in Eurasia, said Russian Ambassador to Yerevan Sergey Kopirkin."Izvestia"in the interview.
According to him, there are no real alternatives to the Russian-Armenian allied cooperation, including within the framework of the CSTO. At the same time, Moscow is interested in ensuring that a stable peace reigns between Armenia and Azerbaijan as soon as possible, the diplomat emphasized.
"Speaking about the issues of ensuring Armenia's security, we are committed to the position that there are no real alternatives comparable to the Russian-Armenian alliance cooperation, including within the framework of the CSTO. Russia remains committed to its obligations to ensure Armenia's security both in a bilateral format and through the CSTO," Kopirkin said.
