Iran will negotiate over its nuclear program solely taking national interests into account and will not accept external pressure and blackmail. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi, after a meeting with the General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.

The Iranian minister called the meeting with the head of the IAEA "important and sincere" and called to resolve all differences through cooperation and dialogue.
On June 6, the permanent representative of the Islamic Republic in international organizations in Vienna, Mohsen Naziri Asl, considered the countries of the "European trio" (Great Britain, Germany and France) responsible for the possible retaliatory steps of Iran by the IAEA.
