Turkey has received an offer to become a partner of BRICS

Turkey has received an offer to become a partner country of BRICS.tvnet:Omer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the republic, said in an interview.

"Turkey has been offered to become a BRICS partner country, this is a transitional process," he said.

Bolat noted that joining the association will bring significant benefits to the republic, as it will allow cooperation with all the most important global platforms.

As Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted in early November, Moscow welcomes Turkey's interest in rapprochement with BRICS, but the decision on the parameters of Ankara's participation in the association's work will be made, among other things, based on the consensus of its members.
