On November 8, 2024, at 11:18 p.m., a report was received from "Masis MC" CJSC that a 17-year-old resident of Nor Kharberd settlement, accompanied by his friends, sought medical help from them with a cut and puncture wound. a young man who died on the same day at 23:45.
Regarding the case, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Ararat Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, in accordance with Article 155, Part 2, Clause 5 of the RA Criminal Code.
As a result of urgent investigative and investigative actions carried out during the preliminary investigation, a number of circumstances of the incident were revealed, including the motive, the identity of some of the persons involved in the incident, including the person who inflicted life-threatening bodily injury on the victim, who are residents of the same settlement.
The investigation revealed that the young man received physical injuries incompatible with life during a dispute between two groups near the cemetery of Nor Kharberd settlement.
As a result of the investigative and evidentiary actions undertaken, it was found that S.S., in order to get clarifications from fellow villager S.P. on a personal matter and to punish him with the motive of revenge, his accomplices, six residents of the same settlement and persons who have not yet been identified by the investigation. collected and transported to the area adjacent to the cemetery of the Kharberd settlement, where, according to the agreement, the other side of the conflict, including the victim D.P., also arrived.
S.S., without clarifying, joining their efforts with a group of people with the intention of committing murder as a group, attacked S.P., D.P. and the persons who arrived at the mentioned place with the latter, with their hands and kicked them. During that time, A.G., showing more active and aggressive behavior, struck the vital organs of D.P., who was lying on the ground, with a knife he was holding, while the other members of the group continued to hit D.P. causing bodily injuries incompatible with life to the latter's health, thereby illegally depriving the latter of his life.
During the preliminary investigation, a number of necessary investigative actions were performed. Traces of blood were found during the inspection of the scene, samples were taken, witnesses who witnessed the incident were questioned.
Forensic and post-mortem examinations of the body have been ordered.
As a result of operative-investigative and operative-search measures undertaken by the officers of the relevant department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, one of the persons who allegedly committed the crime, G.Y., was found and presented to the body conducting the proceedings.
A public criminal prosecution was initiated against him and he was charged under the 5th and 8th clauses of the 2nd part of Article 155 of the RA Criminal Code. The court satisfied the request of the investigator to apply detention as a preventive measure to the latter.
The investigation is ongoing.
