Yesterday, on August 29, an emergency occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At around 12:20, on the 2nd street of the Ddmashen settlement, 60-year-old Mher H., a resident of the Kotayk region, overturned in a ravine while unloading stones and a pile of soil from the body of the "ZIL" truck he was driving.
As reported by photojournalistGagik Shamshyan, as a result of the overturn, the driver was taken to the "Sevan" medical center with bodily injuries.
The patrolmen of the 1st Company of the Gegharkunik Region Battalion of the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia arrived at the scene, led by Battalion Commander Aghasi Khachatryan, Battalion Service Senior Inspector Nersik Grigoryan, Company Commander Hrachya Gevorgyan, and Company Deputy Commander Arsen Stepanyan.
The territory was demarcated by patrolmen of the same company Garik Ghazaryan and Arayik Davtyan.
The operational group of the Sevan Division of the Main Department of the Community Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police also arrived at the scene, led by Division Head Vardan Sahakyan.
The Sevan Police Department transmitted information about the incident to the Sevan Investigation Department of the Gegharkunik Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, from where an investigation team arrived, led by the head of the department Sargis Margaryan, deputy head of the department Arman Hovhannisyan, head of the Sevan Investigation Department Torgom Chandoyan, and the investigator on duty for the day.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated in the Sevan Investigation Department based on the incident.
