Alen Simonyan addressed the criticisms directed at him and noted that he is not going to not react when they talk about him.
According to him, he will react as he considers right at the moment.
"I have been a public politician for a long time and I repeat: let him not buzz," said Simonyan.
He also referred to the opinion that the position of Secretary of the Security Council implies a more closed and restrained public behavior.
"I will be an active Secretary of the Security Council. I will say my word regarding the domestic political field whenever I consider it necessary. I will give you interviews," he said.
According to Simonyan, some "mystical" ideas and stereotypes formed around officials should be broken.
"Finish it. You know, there were children in our course who were admitted to the law faculty at the age of 16 already in suits, they came with aprons, they knew that they were all prosecutors. If you don't want to cover it, don't cover it, if it's not interesting, don't cover it. But I think it is a stereotype and an outdated opinion," said Alen Simonyan.
